For Watch Receivers on Telephones, Intercom and 300 type Bakelite Telephones.
There were two types, the first was introduced circa 1938 and was
fixed to the telephone by the rear feet fixings and the second type, which
was introduced circa 1958 and was fixed to the telephone by sliding it down
the flutes at the rear of the telephone case.
The picture shows the
1958 type.Originally gilded or nickelled, but later was Chromium plated. Drawings -

This hook is fitted in the rear opening below the handset rest. The
fixing screw is fed between the
ventilation slots found located at the rear of the slot. Introduced in
