COMMON PARTS - "D" and "S" PARTS

Common Parts - "D" and "S"
There were generally small parts which were known only by their drawing number.

The part number consisted of "digit / letters / digit(s)".

The prefix was the item number on the drawing, the the letters and final digit(s) being the diagram number.

i.e. 2/DBU/1 = Item 2 on Drawing DBU/1.

The first letter will start with a "D" or an "S" and the last two letters are an abbreviation of the part i.e. DBU = button.
