Introduced in 1958 and made obsolete in 1970.

This label was held in place by a circular retaining clip.

Label No. 358

Introduced in 1959 this was originally a clear plate with painted legend or latterly a solid plate with an embossed legend.

Made from Polymethyl, Methacrylate.

The plate was used on the Telephones No. 706.

Discontinued in 1965 as they tended to foul on the case.

The Label clips onto a plastic holder, called a Plunger, Switch,  that is fitted on the Switch mounting.  Switch No. 5A-1 (non-locking) and No. 5A-2 (locking) are used with these labels.

Available in the colours Black, Blue, Green, Grey, Ivory, Red and Yellow.
