Vehicle description
Based on the Dodge 50 series, this chassis cab provides roomy accommodation
for driver and passenger. The body, constructed from GRP and aluminium, has
a one-piece translucent fibre glass root above and a 22mm plywood floor
below. A load restraint system is incorporated within the body and lashing
rings are also provided in the floor.
The standard vehicle is supplied with a full width rear
roller shutter, a body side roller shutter, a 500kg capacity tail lift, and
at the front of the body a hinged flap which simplifies the carriage of long
equipment, such as poles.
A four cylinder 3.8 litre diesel engine is standard, with a
fuel tank capacity of 25 gallons. At approximately 16 mpg this gives the
vehicle a range of about 400 miles.
