SOUNDER ON/OFF (FOR INCOMING CALLS)
1 . Press HOLD and hold down (do not lift handset).
The LINE key LED's reflect the state of the sounder for
the relevant line. LED on = sounder on, LED off = sounder off.
2. Press LINE key to change state.
3. Release HOLD.
SET UP CONFERENCE (MK 2)
1. Put exchange line into hold.
2. Call other extension & get them to press HOLD.
3. Originating caller then presses HOLD to complete conference.
DIVERT
1. With handset down.
2. Press & Hold down both HOLD and DIVERT.
3. Press & release terminal button of nominated terminal.
4. Release HOLD & DIVERT buttons.
To invoke divert press DIVERT To release divert press
DIVERT
The nominated terminal can call the diverting terminal.
If no reply the red LED next to the hold button will glow on the diverted
terminal until the handset is lifted.
The diverting terminal can "Buzz" the
nominated terminal by pressing the nominated terminals button without
lifting the handset.
EXTERNAL EXTNS (software MPO191A)
ON THE EXTERNAL EXTENSION ADAPTER PRESS BUTTON.
When glowing bell rings on incoming calls.
When dim bell does not ring on incoming calls.
Can also be invoked from the telephone.
40 Bell Off.
41 Bell On.
OBTAINING OUTSIDE LINE
Dial 9 to use the first available free line or:
81 First Line.
82 Second Line.
If you hear no dial tone the exchange lines are in use,
try again later or wait and you will automatically be connected to the
first line to become free. If a second line is not available no tone will
be heard.
INTERCOM CALL
Dial 0 followed by the terminal number.
TO MAKE AN INTERNAL ENQUIRY CALL
Press the RECALL button.
RETURN TO HELD CALL AFTER INTERNAL INQUIRY
Replace your handset briefly and then pick it up again.
RETURN TO HELD CALL AN EXTERNAL ENQUIRY
Press RECALL
in the event of mains failure, the external extension
is connected to the appropriate exchange line.
On the restoration of mains power the remote answer
facility will be switched on.
External extension adapters are not compatible with MF
signalling, if MF is required a dual signalling telephone is required and
must be set to LD, and only switched to MF once exchange dial tone is
received.
An exchange line call that has previously been
transferred to the external extension from another extension CANNOT be
transferred again.
