BELLSET No 6


Wooden cased, trembler type, Bellset used on Magneto and CBS No. 1 systems where intercommunication was required on Plan systems (e.g. Plan 11).  They would normally be associated with a table instrument.

Originally called the "Bellset, Trembler" this Bellset was used in conjunction with a Telephone No. 10 when connected to a Telephone No. 4.

Bellset includes (1928):-
1 x Bell, No. 13A minus base, or 1 x Bell No. 56A.
1 x Coil, Induction, No. 1 or No. 12.

The Bellset No. 6 Mark 235, has a Bell No. 56A fitted internally with the bell gong positioned outside of the casing.  The pictures are of a Mark 235.

Made obsolete in 1947.
