Bakelite table table telephone for use in Automatic areas on shared service (separate metering) extension plans.

The telephone has provision in the Bakelite case moulding for 1 or 3 press buttons.

L11579.A1 - supplied to the BPO as their Telephone No. 312L (Mark 3A) Ivory and the New Zealand PO as their model HB660 Ivory (3 hole case with no buttons fitted).
L11579.A2 - supplied to the BPO as their Telephone No. 312L (Mark 3A) Ivory.
L11579.B1 - supplied to the BPO as their model Telephone No. 314F (Mark 2A) Ivory.
