USER INSTRUCTIONSBT 2+8RINGER ON / OFF OPERATOR MODE ANYONE CAN ANSWER MODE All other extensions ringers can be programmed ON or OFF. Extension 20 ringer is always ON for line 1. All other extensions, except 21, are ON for incoming calls on line 1, but can be individually turned OFF. Extension 21 ringer is always ON for line 2 and cannot be turned OFF. No other extension rings for line 2 unless extension 21 diverts its calls. TO TURN OFF THE RINGER Note:- The ringers can be turned on for individual lines only if they have been programmed OFF for both lines first. TO TURN OFF THE RINGER FOR BOTH LINES TO TURN ON THE RINGER 1. lift handset and key 61 for line 1, 62 for
line 2. TO TURN ON THE RINGER FOR BOTH LINES EXCHANGE LINE ACCESS SYSTEMPHONE STANDARD TELEPHONES Using 9, 41, or 42 requires a free intercom path, therefore if you receive busy when you lift the receiver, you should use the RECALL (on tele) or LINE KEY (on Systemphone) method. TRANSFER
On a Systemphone, if both intercom paths are busy you can still transfer on ringing. TRANSFER ON RINGING HOLD OR PARK RETRIEVE HELD OR PARKED CALL If the held call is not retrieved within 3 minutes the call will ring back on your extension. If you are engaged or there is no reply within 30 seconds, the call is represented as an incoming call. DIVERT 1. Lift handset and key 70 (Divert on
Systemphone). While on divert you will receive special dial tone. 1. Lift handset and key 77 (divert if
Systemphone). NIGHT SERVICE ALL telephones will ring regardless of line programming. TO ACTIVATE:- FROM EXTN 20 ONLY TO CANCEL:- FROM EXTN 20 ONLY HOST SYSTEM PBX RECALL Press RECALL on Systemphone, wait for host PBX dial tone then dial number. HOST PBX RECALL USING A TELEPHONE MK1. USING A TELEPHONE MK2. When PBX dial tone beard, dial extension number. To return to original call press RECALL (Systemphone) or 7 (standard telephone). NETWORK SERVICES FROM BT2+8 EXTENSION Where Network Services require you to send a recall signal follow procedure outlined in Host PBX Recall. BT 2+8 SYSTEMPHONE Mk1 and Mk2 versions available- Mk2 has improved RFI immunity and improved handsfree performance. The 2+8 Systemphone provides the following
