Laryngaphone table Telephone.

A Candlestick style telephone with a transmitter that presses onto the throat.

Used in noisy conditions on CB and Automatic lines.

Uses a Transmitter Inset No. 11.

Laryngaphones where used in noisy environments.  Many wall mounted models were used in Zeppelins and the like.

Early table telephones were connected to the internal wiring with a Strip, Flexible Cord Connection.  Click here for more information.
