4510 WALL TYPE The wood used was generally of inferior quality and the brass fittings were lacquered, not chemically blackened. 'Niceties', such as the cover for protecting the clapper ball of the ringer, were not provided. The telephone circuit though is pure GPO (Telephone No. 232) and used the latest available Induction Coil. But the terminals are not numbered, neither are there the same amount of terminals, but the circuit is the same. Probably a war time expediency. The dial label in the pictures below is wrong, as it shows a Plessey dial label. To convert this telephone to work on the UK plug and socket system
