INDIAN TELEPHONE INDUSTRIES (ITI)

Indian Telephone Industries (ITI) is a company that first started to produce telephones in 1948.  It is under the ownership of the Department of Telecommunications (Ministry of Communications) of the Government of India.  Founded in 1948 as a departmental factory, it was incorporated as a public company in 1950.

The company purchased redundant production equipment from other manufacturers and this is why some of the moulded parts are not as good as they should be.
