Application
For cutting long grass prior to trench excavation and for use on sites where constant mowing of grass is impracticable.

General description
The machine consists of fork-type cutting blades mounted on a light, two-wheel bogie and driven by a 4-stroke petrol engine developing 29 h.p. at 2400 r.p.m.

The width of the cutting assembly is 3ft. and it is fitted with a "Universal Foot" which allows the cutting assembly to be tilted or pitched as required so that the fingers can be raised or lowered towards the ground depending upon the closeness of the cut required.

All working parts are run in a dust-proof oil-bath gear case, with one main oiling point.

Fuel
Petrol-oil mixture. One gallon of petrol and 0.5pint of oil is sufficient for 5 to 6 hours working.
