HANDLAMP, ELECTRIC No. 12A

Application
For general use wherever a short-term powerful source of illumination is required.

General description
Power for the lamp is derived from a battery of three P.O. type 'DS6' cells housed in a strong metal container and giving the lamp a reasonably long life.

The lamp is fitted with a rimpled glass. A pair of terminals is provided on the outside of the case so that the battery can be used by jointers for tapping-out a few cable pairs.

A combined stand and carrying handle is fitted and the lamp may be pivoted to direct the light as required.

Capital cost
£1.

Remarks
This item will be introduced as a Rate Book item. It supersedes the ARP type "Handlamp Electric No. 12" (TOOLS & TRANSPORT, Hand Tools, L 1134).
