These fixing guns are high performance tools which use a small explosive cartridge to fire a variety of fixings into a wall or similar structure. The power of the cartridge is expended in driving a piston, which in turn ejects the fixing from the gun. The double action results in a safe tool with a comparatively low muzzle velocity.
