LOCKS No. 6



Used on Boxes, Coin Collecting No 13 and No. 14 from the late 1920's and then on the No. 705 coin box until the introduction of the electronic payphones around 1988.

Subtle differences do occur and the obvious difference is the position of the case screw fixings, which were never on the front of the lock on early variants, as they would be exposed.

Fitted to the cash box compartment cover and different keys were allocated to each lock.

The use a Key Lock No. 6.

These are tough locks and liable to break a drill bit.
