Only pictures on this page - there is hardly any supporting documentation available. Pictures are from GEC Marketing files - pictures taken in 1963. Seems to be called the 10/18 dial (possibly as the two clutch gear variants had 10 or 18 tangs on them). Probably prototype dials which never went into
production.
New dial is to the left and the old Dial No. 21 to the right
Looks like there were two versions - check out the clutch
gear wheels - 18 tangs on the left and 10 tangs on the right Also called the Paddle Dial
