Compact style telephone designed to work on short lines.

Bakelite table telephone fitted with rectifier and relay arranged for ringing an external DC bell.

The handset is fitted with an Electro-magnetic receiver, which was just connected in series with the transmitter and therefore the handset cord only consisted of 2 wires.

Introduced around 1935.
