A magneto intercommunication system is recommended where the distances between stations are very long, or where the cables between stations are mostly run outdoor.

This type of instrument is very substantial and reliable.
The generator is 3-magnet type and the ringer 300 ohms.
To make a call select the desired number by means of the radial switch and turn the generator handle.

A call can be received on the ringer with the switch in any position, but to answer the switch must be turned to position "A" and the micro-telephone lifted off the cradle.
