The telephone consists of:
Handset RE 1023, insulated capsule transmitter, high resistance, waterproof.
Dial, RG 99.
Condenser, 2 microfarads capacity.
Ringer of 1000ohms resistance.

Frame work made entirely of black enamelled steel.

The line terminals are enclosed in the instrument.

The line cord is plug ended.

Dimensions:
250mm x 180mm x 120mm.

Weight: 3.3 kg.

DE 502
The same device as the DE 500 but with a fixed wall mounted block, without plug.

Both telephones are for use on Automatic Exchanges OL 35, OL 40, OL 100, OL 500 and OL 550.

Note that the dial is numbered 0, 9 to 2, 1.
