Telephone, Magneto Wall
(Ericsson Type A) Externally the same as the Telephone No. 1 Commonwealth Ericsson, this was the earlier standard Ericsson model imported by various State administrations. Like the No. 1 it could be fitted with a condenser to make it suitable for C.B. exchanges. A second receiver could be fitted to this telephone and it would hang on the hook located just below the writing table. There was a press button on the telephone which would be pressed when operating the generator. This disconnected the bell from the line. Taken from Bob's Old Phones
Secondary receiver on hook
Additional receiver terminals
Terminal strip at the top with the lightning protector located just below
Generator cut off button and writing desk paper clip
