Telephone No. 138AT

The solid-back microphones originally fitted to the Telephone No. 38 were mostly replaced with a Bakelite moulding containing a standard carbon microphone inset (these assemblies were made by Siemens Brothers).  These refurbished telephones were known as Telephone No. 138AT.

The CB version is called the Telephone No. 136.
