ATE and ATM
DIALS


ATM produced telephones in the UK with UK and US dials.

UK dials were supplied on all GPO contacts and a private contact specially demanded them.  Over wise, the US dial, the Type 24 would be supplied.

When plastic cased telephones were introduced ATE used the Dial No. 5, nicknamed the Dimple Dial, on their Telephone No. 6.
